嫉妒妹妹幸福的大姊
大姊是賽姬兩個姊姊中年紀較大的那一位，原典中沒有寫出她的名字。她的美貌只算普通，比妹妹先嫁給了別國的國王。
在故事中，她為了尋找下落不明的妹妹而來，被西風送進黃金宮殿。看到妹妹奢華的生活，她心生嫉妒，抱怨自己的丈夫「比父親還老，頭頂光禿，個子比小孩還矮」。後來她和另一個姊姊聯手，從妹妹前後矛盾的說法中懷疑妹夫來歷不凡，於是對賽姬說：「妳丈夫的真面目是一條大蛇，遲早會把妳吃掉。」
兩個姊姊是想要破壞賽姬幸福的反派角色。正因為賽姬真心敬愛姊姊們，她們的背叛才成為故事的重大轉折。
