큰언니와 함께 음모를 꾸미는 둘째 언니
작은언니는 프시케의 두 언니 가운데 손아래인 인물로, 원전에는 이름이 없습니다. 큰언니에 이어 또 다른 나라의 왕에게 시집갔습니다.
궁전에서 동생의 행복을 목격하자 큰언니와 함께 질투에 불탑니다. 자기 남편은 관절병으로 몸이 굽어 있어서, 아내라기보다 간병인 같은 생활을 한다고 한탄하며 큰언니와 계략을 꾸밉니다. 그리고 잠든 남편을 등불로 비추고 면도칼로 해치라는 방법을 프시케에게 일러 줍니다.
원전에서 두 언니는 여러 번 궁전을 찾아오며, 그때마다 동생을 홀리는 말을 더욱 교묘하게 다듬어 갑니다. 언니들은 훗날 자신들이 꾸민 음모의 대가를 치르게 됩니다.
