战国武将故事梗概

《战国武士列传 ―争夺天下的男人们―》是一部根据当时的史料，把日本战国时代的著名场面逐话画成漫画的系列作品。故事主要依据织田信长的家臣太田牛一所写的《信长公记》，以及记录武田家战事与传说的《甲阳军鉴》等文献。

第1话讲的是被人传为“大傻瓜”的青年织田信长，与人称“美浓之蝮”的岳父斋藤道三在正德寺初次会面。道三事先偷看信长的队伍，对他古怪的打扮和强大的军势大吃一惊；可到了会见的座席上，信长却换上了正装出现。第2话是1560年的桶狭间之战。今川义元的大军逼近的前一夜，信长不谈作战，倒头就睡。天亮时他只带少数随从冲出城去，在一场急雨过后突袭义元的本阵，将其讨取。

第3话和第4话描写1561年的第四次川中岛之战。武田信玄的军师山本勘助献上“啄木鸟战法”：把军队分成两路，前后夹击上杉军。然而上杉谦信看穿了这一行动，连夜下山。浓雾散去的八幡原上，武田本队与上杉全军正面相对。在信玄之弟信繁和勘助相继战死的激战中，一名不报姓名的骑马武士杀进了信玄的本阵。漫画中虚构的部分，会在每话的解说里与原典对照说明。

  1. 第1话The Day the Viper Stopped Laughing — Nobunaga Meets Saitō Dōsan at Shōtoku-ji

    漫画剧情Young Nobunaga is the laughingstock of the land—"the Big Fool." Saito Dosan, the old warlord they call the Viper, married his daughter off to him, and now he wants to see the groom with his own eyes. One peek at the procession from a roadside hut, and one quick change behind a temple folding screen, wipe the smile right off the old man's face.

  2. 第2话45,000 Were Coming. Nobunaga Went to Sleep. — Battle of Okehazama

    漫画剧情On the night an army of 45,000 closes in, 27-year-old Oda Nobunaga ignores his retainers' pleas to hold the castle, makes small talk about swallows, and goes to bed. At dawn he dances "Fifty years of a man's life" and bolts from the castle. Past retainers trying to stop him and allies falling in battle, he pushes forward—and in the instant the storm breaks, he shouts: "Charge!"

  3. 第3话The Perfect Plan, Betrayed by Dinner Smoke — Battle of Kawanakajima (the Woodpecker Gambit)

    漫画剧情The enemy won't come down from the mountain, so the strategist Kansuke plans to drive them out with a "woodpecker" trick. But the enemy commander saw through it from one thing: the cooking smoke rising from the castle at suppertime. When the fog lifts, the whole enemy army is standing right in front of him.

  4. 第4话Who Was the Rider Who Struck the Warlord? — Battle of Kawanakajima (Shingen vs. Kenshin)

    漫画剧情Kawanakajima, autumn 1561. The fog lifts, and the entire Uesugi army is right in front of them. As word comes that Shingen has lost his brother and his strategist, he still won't leave his camp stool. Then a rider who never gives his name charges straight into the command camp.

  5. 第5话撑到天亮，一个人守住这座城 ―金崎撤退战（金崎之战）―

    漫画剧情两天连下两城，营中一片欢腾。就在这时，传来了自家人倒戈的消息，大军转眼间前后受敌。主公信长决定走山路突围，而留在空城里断后的，是一个只盼主公能记住自己名字的矮个子——藤吉郎。

    原典中的故事这一话的主要依据是《信长公记》。作者太田牛一是织田信长的家臣，亲身经历过那个时代。书中元龟元年（1570年）的条目写道：四月二十日，信长从京城出发，经过坂本，再穿过若狭的熊川、佐柿，于二十五日进入朝仓氏统治的越前敦贺。
