昔男（在原业平）是谁？
《伊势物语》的爱情主人公
男子
昔男是平安时代和歌物语《伊势物语》的主人公，书中许多段落都以"从前，有一个男子"开头，指的就是他。原典并未写出他的名字，但由于书中的和歌多为在原业平所作，因此普遍认为这个人物是以业平为原型的。
在第1话《芥川》中，他偷偷带走了思慕多年的高贵女子，雷雨之夜手持弓箭守在荒废仓库的门口，女子却在此时被鬼一口吞下。他悲叹道："当她问我'那是珍珠吗'的时候，我若答一声'是露水'，随露一同消逝该多好。"在第8话《月非昔时月》中，他思念远去的恋人，一年后在旧日的房间里吟出"月非昔时月，春亦非昔春"的和歌。
在原业平是"六歌仙"之一，他咏龙田川红叶的和歌也收录在《小仓百人一首》中。
